Overview
What this actually is
Retirement planning is really two problems. The first is accumulating enough. The second — the one most plans ignore — is drawing it down over two or three decades without running out.
We work backward from the income you will need, adjust for inflation, and build toward that number using NPS, long-duration equity, and annuity products where a guaranteed income floor genuinely helps.
Why consider it
What it does well
- Planned against a target monthly income, not an arbitrary corpus figure.
- NPS contributions carry their own tax deduction over and above Section 80C.
- Long horizons make equity exposure appropriate for longer than most people assume.
- The drawdown phase is planned before you reach it, not improvised afterwards.

Who is this for
You might be a fit if…
If none of these describe you, that is useful information too — tell us on the call and we will point you somewhere more suitable.
- Salaried professionals with 15+ years to retirement
- Business owners with no employer pension of any kind
- Anyone within ten years of retiring who has not modelled the drawdown
Risks & considerations
- NPS is substantially locked in until 60, with only limited partial withdrawals permitted for specified purposes.
- A portion of the NPS corpus must be annuitised at exit; annuity rates available at that time are unknown today.
- Annuity income is taxable as income in the year received.
- Equity allocations remain subject to market risk, including in the years immediately before retirement.
- Inflation is the central risk to any retirement plan and can erode purchasing power even when nominal returns look adequate.
